[Class 4] A frame for supporting aircraft parts such as wings under construction or for testing the external shape, comprises an upper part composed of two members 6, 6<1> adapted to extend along opposite sides of the part under construction and detachably connected to an under part 4 fixed to a, main base 1. The members 6, 61 are connected to the part 4 by tongue and foot connections secured by pins 8. The members 6 are connected to one another by a pin 9. Extensions 2 for foot spindles 3 are detachably connected to the base 1. A. modification is shown having a tubular main base to which the part 4 is clamped. |
