The present invention provides a method, an apparatus, and a system for interaction between hard disks, which relate to the field of storage technologies, and can solve a problem that performance of a cluster controller is reduced due to relatively high load pressure of the cluster controller. The method includes: determining, by a first hard disk, a first capability set, where the first capability set is a set of service capabilities supported by the first hard disk; receiving, by the first hard disk, a second capability set sent by a second hard disk, where the second capability set is a set of service capabilities supported by the second hard disk; determining, by the first hard disk, a common capability set according to the first capability set and the second capability set, where the common capability set is a set of service capabilities supported by both the first hard disk and the second hard disk; and determining, by the first hard disk, a collaboration service capability from the common capability set, to use the collaboration service capability to perform service processing with the second hard disk. |
