An interlayer video decoding method includes reconstructing a first layer obtained from a bitstream, based on encoding information of the first layer, splitting a largest coding unit of a second layer image obtained from the bitstream into one or more coding units, based on split information of the second layer image, splitting the one or more coding units into one or more prediction units for prediction decoding, and determining whether to use a predetermined encoding tool based on at least one of a prediction mode of a current prediction unit, size information, or color and depth information and decoding the current prediction unit using the predetermined encoding tool according to the determining of whether to use the predetermined encoding tool.
