520,296. Supporting pipes. JUNKERS FLUGZEUG-UND-MOTORENWERKE AKT.- GES. Nov. 3, 1938, No. 31850. Convention date, Nov. 24, 1937. Drawings to Specification. [Class 99 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXVI] Pipes for insertion in an aircraft are shaped, prior to insertion, in accordance with the course they are to assume and are secured together to form a rigid unit which is then inserted in the aircraft and fixed in position. When non-rigid pipes are employed these may be attached to a rigid support which is shaped to conform to the course the pipes are to assume. Valves may be assembled with the pipes and form part of the rigid unit. The members serving to secure the pipes together as a unit may also provide the means whereby the pipes are attached to the aircraft; alternatively, separate means may be provided for attaching the pipes to the aircraft. |
