The layer (10) has a support structure (12) made of thread material and including a set of section protection threads (18) to be extending-supported close to each other on the support structure. A part of the section protection thread is formed with smooth material and arranged with a wavelike pattern. The support structure is partially and/or fully constructed with texturized thread material. The section protection threads are arranged between receivable supporting structural layers (14, 16), and the support structure is formed as a mesh material i.e. fabric or knitted fabric. An independent claim is also included for a section protection textile for industrial safety clothing.
