In the present invention, there is disclosed a device for pressing large forgings comprising a top swage (5), provided with an upper tool (2), and a lower tool (3) for placing a workpiece thereon. The top swage (5) is provided with a shedder (1). The top swage (5) is provided with the upper tool (2) comprising a knife plate (10) with the knife (11) mounted thereon. The knife (11) plate (10) is attached to the top swage (5) by means of a suspension eye (8) and hanger pins (9), situated on both the top swage (5) and the knife (11) plate (10). The knife (11) is provided on each its narrower side with a groove (13). In the grooves (13), there are movably mounted guide pins (14) serving for movably mounting on the knife (11) a guide (12). The lower tool (3) is mounted by means of blocks (17) onto a base (4). The lower tool (3) comprises an outer sleeve (15), two internal wider parts (6) situated opposite to each other and two internal narrower parts (7) situated opposite to each other. Each internal narrower part (7) is provided inside with a supporting plate (16). |
