A device (10) for separating solids from waste water comprising: a support frame (11) provided with at least an inlet mouth (121), a first outlet mouth (125) of the liquid fraction when separated from the fluid and a second outlet mouth (135) of at least a part of the solid fraction when separated from the fluid; a first filter screen (16) associated to the support frame (11) so as to intercept the fluid which flows from the inlet mouth (121) to the first outlet mouth (125); a second filter screen (18) associated to the support frame (11) so as to intercept the fluid flowing from the inlet mouth (121) to the first outlet mouth (125), located upstream of the first filter screen (16) in an advancement direction of the fluid from the inlet mouth (121) to the first outlet mouth (125); at least an Archimedes screw (15) associated rotatably to the support frame (11) and provided with a first portion (151) and a second portion (152) respectively able to transport the solid fraction accumulated by the first filter screen (16) and by the second filter screen (18) towards the second outlet mouth (135).
