[Class 20 (i)] [Also in Group XXXIII] Torpedo net for boats or bomb screen for land structures is supported by pivotal tubular arms. Carried by the plating 9 on pivots 4 are slotted tubular arms in which the spherical ends 12 of rods 13 are supported, the spherical ends being under spring restraint 16 and the adjacent part of the support 13 passing through the slots 11 in the tubular member 1. From the support 13 is suspended a screen member 14 which may be weighted at the bottom to maintain it taut. The adjacent members 1 are connected by rods 22 in lugs 21 to which also are secured hoisting ropes 19. |
