1. A computer-based method for real-time communication authorization comprising:
receiving, from a first communication device, a communication request, wherein the communication request comprises a specified communication technology selected from a set of supported communication technologies; verifying, with a real-time communications approval server, a pre-approval status of the communication request; storing, with the real-time communications approval server, the communication request in an approval queue if the pre-approval status is set to false; receiving, from an authorization device, one or more authorization parameters, wherein the one or more authorization parameters comprises an enablement flag; receiving a contact verification request; receiving one or more trust parameters; calculating a trust score as a function of the one or more trust parameters; and uniquely identifying the target contact if the trust score is greater than a threshold value.
