A multiple jig for assembling the transverse frames of boats comprises a metal plate 5 on which the frame lines are marked, sets of guides 6, one set for each frame, each guide, being located on the plate by pins 7 entering holes 11. Each guide receives the ends' of two adjacent frame members, locating them by side plates 8 which at the same time position the gusset plates 10.
