1. A structural component, comprising:
a cold-formed first formed part; and a warm-formed, and hardened, second formed part with a variable thickness along a longitudinal extension of the second formed part; wherein the second formed part has a connection portion connected to the first formed part, wherein the connection portion is distanced from an outer edge of the first formed part such that the structural component has a one-layered flange portion of the first formed part between the connection portion and the outer edge, wherein the one-layered flange portion is configured as a welding flange for being welded to a further component, and wherein the first formed part and the second formed part are connected to each other by a high energy beam welding seam along a connection edge of the connection portion.
