The video processing apparatus includes: an input portion, which is configured to input a input video signal therein; and a video correcting portion, which is configured to correct the input video signal, wherein the video correcting portion is constructed to conduct a part of a Retinex process and a part of resolution restoration (deconvolution) by a circuit for common use, and further wherein the Retinex process is conducted upon basis of a result of calculation, applying a first output obtained by applying a mirror reflection component (specular) filter onto the input video signal, a second output obtained by applying a diffuse reflection component (diffuse component) filter onto the input video signal, and a third output obtained by applying an ambient light component (ambient component) filter onto the input video signal. |

1. A video processing apparatus, comprising:
an input portion, which is configured to input a video signal therein; and a video correcting portion, which is configured to correct said input video signal, wherein said video correcting portion is constructed to conduct a part of a Retinex process and a part of resolution restoration (deconvolution) by a circuit for common use, wherein said Retinex process is conducted upon basis of a result of calculation, applying a first output obtained by applying a mirror reflection component (specular) filter onto the input video signal, a second output obtained by applying a diffuse reflection component (diffuse component) filter onto the input video signal, and a third output obtained by applying an ambient light component (ambient component) filter onto the input video signal, in the structure thereof, and wherein said resolution restoration (deconvolution) is conducted by a calculating process upon basis of at least said first output or said second output. |
