A wind turbine (1) comprising a tower (2) and a nacelle (4), the nacelle being rotatable at a top end (3) of the tower and carrying a drive train and a rotor (5), and the drive train including a power generator for generating electrical power by rotation of the rotor. To reduce the influence of noise, the wind turbine further comprises a sound generator (9)configured to emit a predefined masking sound, particularly a sound which masks the tonal component typically generated by the drive train and related components in the wind turbine. |
