A method, controller, wind turbine, and computer program product are disclosed for operating a wind turbine comprising a generator having a rotor, the generator producing a power output and the rotor having a rotational speed. The method comprises determining at least one critical speed value, and reducing the power output of the generator from an initial power value to a reduced power value when the rotational speed of the rotor is determined to be within a predetermined speed interval of the critical speed value. |
