PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a door of a passenger car and reduce weight and costs of the door by enabling provision of an opening retention mechanism in a connection mechanism of a passenger car.SOLUTION: A door of a passenger car includes: a door body 30 configured so as to allow opening and closing an entrance of a passenger car; and a connection mechanism 40 which connects the door body 30 to a peripheral edge part 12r of the entrance so that the door body is movable between a full closing position and a full opening position. The connection mechanism 40 is connected, at one end, to the door body 30 and, at the other end, to the peripheral edge part 12r of the entrance and has a four-node link 45. In the four-node link 45, there is provided an opening holding mechanism 50 which can hold the door body 30, through an elastic force, at a specified opening position between the full closing position and the full opening position for the door body 30. |
