PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fumaric acid diester-based polymer, which suppresses coagulation/blocking among polymer particles and is excellent in production stability.SOLUTION: The method for producing a fumaric acid diester-based polymer comprises suspension-polymerizing 100 pts.wt. of fumaric acid diisopropyl and 1-50 pts.wt. of a fumaric acid diester-based compound other than the fumaric acid diisopropyl in the presence of an oil-soluble radical initiator in a mixed aqueous medium, obtained by mixing 0.1-5 pts.wt. of a ketone-based and/or aromatic solvent, based on 100 pts.wt. of the total of the fumaric acid diisopropyl and the fumaric acid diester-based compound, with an aqueous medium. |
