摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods measurable of the NO concentration in living cells.SOLUTION: There are provided a recombinant vector for transformation for detecting nitrogen monoxide, including a luminescence gene encoding a photoprotein and a series of gene sets for inducing the expression of the luminescence gene, wherein the gene set includes a regulatory gene norR and a promotor site for inducing transcription of the luminescence gene with the regulatory gene norR; nitrogen monoxide sensor cells comprising a transformant prepared by transforming host cells using the recombinant vector; and a method for detecting or determining the quantity of nitrogen monoxide in the cells, including measurement of signal change in the sensor cells. Also provided is a method for detecting or determining the quantity of nitrogen monoxide produced by cells to be inspected, including measurement of signal change in the nitrogen monoxide sensor cells by nearby arranging the nitrogen monoxide sensor cells and the cells to be inspected in which nitrogen monoxide production is going to be detected or determined quantitatively.
