摘要 Disclosed are a stator and a stator manufacturing method that can manufacture a sufficiently strong stator using less time for a resin molding step and without using metal rings. Said method is used to manufacture a stator (30) in which divided core assemblies (32), wherein a coil (36) is wound around teeth (35) on divided core members (33), are arranged into a cylindrical shape. In said stator manufacturing method, divided core assemblies (32) are inserted into a fixed mold (10) in a cylindrical shape, resin sheets (37a and 37b) containing glass fibers or carbon fibers are disposed in coil-end sections (36a and 36b) of the cylindrically-arranged divided core assemblies (32), and a slide section (23) of a movable mold (20) applies pressure to and molds the resin sheets (37a and 37b), thereby turning the divided core assemblies (32) into a single unit. The slide section (23) of the movable mold (20) applies pressure to and molds the resin sheets (37a and 37b) after the divided core assemblies (32) are positioned by a cylindrical section (22) of the movable mold (20).
