PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering device which eliminates the need of or significantly decreasing the washing operation (backwash operation) of a cylindrical filter material.SOLUTION: A filtering device includes: a cyclone container; a cylindrical filter material closing a lower end positioned in the container; a float contacting with an upper end flange portion of the cylindrical filter material; and a rotation brush contacting with a filtering surface of the filter material is provided on a lower part of the float. Water flowing in from an inlet of the cyclone container strikes on the rotation brush to rotate the rotation brush, thereby always friction-washing the filtering surface of the cylindrical filter material. |
