PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of knock determination by determining whether knocking occurs separately for each cylinder using an oscillating knock sensor.SOLUTION: When the oscillation of a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine is detected through a knock sensor and the detected oscillation signal d is compared with a knock determination value to determine whether knocking occurs in a cylinder 1, on the basis of a result determined by means that is separated from the knock sensor and capable of determining whether knocking occurs for each cylinder 1, a correction amount for each cylinder 1 to be added to the oscillation signal d detected through the knock sensor is predetermined to compare the oscillation signal d after the addition of the correction amount with the knock determination value. |
