PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder supply device which enables predetermined time to be set for preventing powder stored in a powder storage container from being used up and to provide an image formation device mounted with the powder supply device.SOLUTION: A powder supply device 100 comprises: two or more powder storage containers 101A and 101B which can be attached to and detached from a device body and are juxtaposed to each other; a powder retaining container 110 which is positioned below the powder storage containers, temporarily retains powder supplied from the powder storage containers and is provided with a powder discharge port 117 to discharge the temporarily retained powder to a supply object 106; and powder detection means 111 which is installed on an internal wall of the powder retaining container and detects existence of the powder at an installation height thereof. The powder detection means is positioned between the neighboring powder storage containers which are juxtaposed to each other. |
