A system for implanting a penile prosthetic (21) into a penis includes a penile implant, a tow suture (24), a delivery cap (25), and an insertion tool (20). The implant has a proximal end (22) insertable into a crus penis and a distal end (23) insertable into a glans penis. The tow suture is removably secured to the distal end of the penile implant. The delivery cap is coupled to the tow suture. The insertion tool has a distal tool end insertable into a corpora cavernosum of the penis and includes a needle (30) configured for delivery through the glans penis.
