The present invention relates to a device for arranging decoration material (12) on a dough product (10), comprising: means for forming a slab of dough (5), a first conveyor (4) for transporting the formed slab of dough (5) along roll-up means (8) at a speed v 1 for the purpose of rolling up the slab of the dough (5), which roll-up means (8) are situated in the path of the first conveyor (4), and a second conveyor (11) for transporting the rolled-up slab of dough (10) at a speed v 2 , wherein means are provided in the vicinity of the second conveyor (11) for arranging decoration material (12) on the rolled-up slab of dough (10), and wherein the speed v 2 of the second conveyor (11) is lower than the speed v 1 of the first conveyor (4). A corresponding method for arranging decoration material (12) and the use of the device in the making of bread is described as well. |
