PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink for cooling an electric element, achieving sufficient heat transfer inside the heat sink and heat diffusion around the heat sink, thereby capable of obtaining sufficient heat dissipation performance, without leading to an increase in weight and manufacturing cost due to an increase of the whole sheet thickness of an aluminum sheet.SOLUTION: A heat sink 1 comprising a single aluminum alloy thin sheet 2 includes a portion 4 where a part of the aluminum alloy thin sheet 2 is folded back in a plane to be overlapped. In the heat sink, one external surface 2b of the overlapped portion 4 is used as a mounting surface of an electric element 14, and the other external surface 4a is used as a heat dissipation surface. |
