PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables main processing and sub processing to be simultaneously executed on one interrupt signal.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a main control unit 81 and a sub control unit 82. A main storage unit 91 stores an interrupt handler table 130 on which a main control unit handler 131 and a sub control unit handler 132 corresponding to one interrupt signal to the main and sub control units 81, 82, are registered. An interrupt detection unit 800 detects an interrupt signal corresponding to the main control unit handler 131 and the sub control unit handler 132. An interrupt execution unit 811 causes the main control unit 81 to execute processing registered on the main control unit handler 131. The interrupt execution unit 812 causes the sub control unit 82 to execute processing registered on the sub control unit handler 132. |
