PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe enabling automatic reversal of a heat transport direction, capable of reducing the number of heat pipes used in a heating and cooling system or the like, and automatically switching the heat transport direction, and moreover increasing the degree of freedom of usages and sizes or the like, and also advantageous in cost.SOLUTION: A heat pipe includes, as portions heat-exchangeable with heat medium liquid L: a first heat exchange part 1; a high-order tank 2; and a second heat exchange part 3. Meanwhile, as pipes for connecting these portions, there are arranged: a first liquid ascending pipe 4; a first liquid descending pipe 5; and a second liquid ascending pipe 6. Furthermore, the first heat exchange part 1 and the second heat exchange part 3 are provided with means for introducing bubbles B in the liquid ascending pipe to move the heat medium liquid L from each heat exchange part to the upper side according to received heat. Also, in the first heat exchange part 1, the end of the first liquid ascending pipe 4 is disposed downward at a position horizontal to the end of the second liquid ascending pipe 5 or at a position lower than the horizontal position. |
