PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring an initial curve shape of a scanning long optical element and a bent-adjusted curve shape close to a quadratic curve as much as possible, by use of a component of a conventional optical scanner.SOLUTION: A scanning long lens 5 is supported by a bracket 31. A central part of the long lens 5 is supported rockably by a support point 22c. Both ends of the bracket 31 is biased toward the support point 22c with a pair of pressing leaf springs 34, to press the central part of the long lens 5 against the support point 22c. The long lens 5 is bent in a convex shape on the side of the bracket 31 by reaction from the support point 22c, to apply initial curve shape. When an adjustment screw 35 in the bracket is screwed toward the long lens 5, a gap between the bracket 31 and the long lens 5 is increased, thereby reducing the amount of curve of the long lens 5 to adjust bend of a scan line. |
