PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric cooling current lead having stabilized characteristics and durability, in which the connection resistance is substantially constant even if the thermal history, i.e., temperature change during electrification, is given a considerable number of times, i.e., when a thermoelectric conversion element repeats thermal expansion and thermal contraction a considerable number of times simultaneously.SOLUTION: A current lead includes a low-temperature side electrode 12 for connection with a superconductive application apparatus in a low-temperature part, a normal temperature side electrode for connection with an external apparatus in a normal temperature part, a Peltier element 110 having one surface to which the low-temperature side electrode 12 is bonded and the other surface to which the normal temperature side electrode is bonded, and a sandwich mechanism for sandwiching the Peltier element 110 by using the low-temperature side electrode 12 and normal temperature side electrode. A plurality of Peltier elements 110 are provided between the low-temperature side electrode 12 and normal temperature side electrode. A gap is provided between adjacent Peltier elements 110. |
