An industry demand-response control system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an energy supply facility which is disposed in an industrial installation, and which supplies electrical and non-electrical energy; a manufacturing facility which is disposed in the industrial installation, and which manufactures a product, using the electrical energy and the non-electrical energy; and a facility control unit which controls the proportion of the electrical energy and the non-electrical energy according to a change in quantity of the manufactured product. The facility control unit: performs control such that a surplus of non-electrical energy which results when the quantity of the manufactured product is reduced in response to an electricity suppression request from an electricity provider is used to supplement reduced electrical energy or converted into electrical energy for resale; and performs control such that the electrical energy which is insufficient due to an increase in the quantity of the manufactured product is supplemented with stockpiled electrical energy, or that said electrical energy is purchased. |
