PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dentifrice compositions suitable for prevention or suppression of periodontal diseases, in which adsorption of isopropyl methylphenol to a container is suppressed and isopropyl methylphenol is temporally stable, and to provide methods of inhibiting adsorption of isopropyl methylphenol to a container of dentifrice compositions.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a dentifrice composition wherein (D) 1,100-3,000 ppm of a fluorine compound as fluorine is incorporated into a dentifrice composition which contains (A) isopropyl methylphenol, (B) anionic surfactant, and (C) nonionic surfactant, and which is filled in a container having an innermost layer consisting of polyethylene. The invention also provides a method of inhibiting adsorption of isopropyl methylphenol to the container of the dentifrice composition in which the component (D) is incorporated in the dentifrice composition which contains the above components (A), (B), and (C), and which is filled in the above container.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
