摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium alloy bar having excellent fatigue properties, and a method for producing the titanium alloy bar.SOLUTION: Provided is a titanium alloy bar excellent in fatigue properties, produced by subjecting an ingot to hot working, having a metallic structure made of an α phase consisting of pro-eutectoid α grains and acicular α grains and a β phase, in which the area ratio in the metallic structure of the pro-eutectoid α grains is 30% or higher, in the pro-eutectoid α grains, the angle (the tilt of the c axis) between the c axis direction of the hexagonal close-packed structure and the length direction of the titanium alloy bar being 25 to 55°, and also the area ratio in the metallic structure of the pro-eutectoid α grains having a circle equivalent diameter of 20 μ or more being 2.0% or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
