PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can easily determine a shaft having rigidity adapted to a user himself/herself when selecting a golf club.SOLUTION: A golf swing analysis device for evaluating rigidity of a shaft of a golf club includes: an interface for receiving motion information of the golf club in swing motion from an inertial sensor 12; a bending moment analysis unit 35 for analyzing inertial force generated in the shaft by the swing motion on the basis of the motion information; and an image generation unit 36 for evaluating the rigidity of the shaft on the basis of an analyzed result. The bending moment analysis unit 35 calculates a component of a first direction along the direction of the shaft acting on the shaft in switching action from top swing to down swing, during which the direction of the swing motion is switched, and a component of a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The image generation unit 36 evaluates the rigidity of the shaft on the basis of the component of first direction and the component of the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
