Conventionally it has not been possible to provide optimal assistance for introducing devices such as Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices or storage batteries capable of handling changes in impedance and power transmission capacity in conjunction with an increase in renewable energy power sources. To solve this problem, the present invention is an introduction assistance device for a system device that determines an introduction site for a system device connected to a power system, wherein the introduction assistance device is characterized by being equipped with a calculation unit for determining, on the basis of prescribed system information and information about a system device scheduled to be introduced, the characteristics of a power system exerting an influence at the time the system device is introduced, and for determining, from a prescribed evaluation indicator associated with the characteristics of the power system, an introduction site for the system device. |
