The invention relates to a control bar (2) for a kite-like traction wing, associated with two front cables (3, 4) and two rear cables (5, 6), the cables being connected by one end to said wing, the bar being cylindrical, each end (2A, 3A) of the bar being connected to the corresponding rear cable, the front cables being connected to the user, means (14, 21, 33) for shortening or lengthening the front or rear cables being provided and being built into the bar. The invention is characterized in that each rear cable (5, 6), or each front cable (3, 4), is associated with a return system (23, 24, 27, 28) creating a cable strand (305, 306) of variable length, and in that said means for shortening/lengthening the cables comprise an additional line (22) each free end (22A, 22B) of which engages with said return system. |
