INPUT MEMBER, BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, MEDICAL/NURSING CARE DATA INPUT DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR USING SAME

This medical/nursing care data input device stores biological information data on patients or care recipients into a storage unit of a hospital server 5. A portable input member 1 is provided with: a short-range communication unit 2 for receiving data through short-range wireless communication with a biological information detection device; and a first wireless communication unit 3 for wirelessly transmitting the data. A second wireless communication unit 4 receives the data through wireless communication with the first wireless communication unit 3 and stores the input data into the storage unit of the hospital server 5 which is connected thereto by wire. Thus providing a medical/nursing care data input device which is compact and low-cost and which can be carried around by each medical/nursing care staff member such as a nurse or a caregiver, without being installed for each patient or the like.
