PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin film for an optical material which has high refractive index, is excellent in transparency and optical propagation at wavelength of 850 nm, is soluble in an alkaline aqueous solution, and exhibits good workability and size controllability; a resin film for an optical material formed using the resin composition for the optical material; and an optical waveguide formed using them.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition for an optical material which contains (A) an acidic group-containing epoxy (meth)acrylate resin containing a novolac type skeleton in the main chain, (B) a polymerizable compound and (C) a polymerization initiator, where the (A) epoxy (meth)acrylate resin is a compound having two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups in the molecule.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
