PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which may be attached to a housing, in which a mounting hole is formed, is lighter than conventional connectors, and electrically connects an external member with the housing in a stable manner.SOLUTION: A connector 10 may be attached to a housing 80 having an insertion hole 814 formed therein. The connector 10 includes: an external member 40 which is made of a resin and subject to conductive plating; and an inserted part 500. When the connector 10 is attached to the housing 80, the inserted part 500 is inserted into the insertion hole 814 toward the rear side. The external member 40 has a main part 410 and a flange 440. The inserted part 500 is positioned at the inner side of the main part 410 on an orthogonal plane orthogonal to a fore and aft direction. A pressure contact part 460, which seamlessly surrounds the inserted part 500 on the orthogonal plane, is formed on a rear surface 412 of the main portion 410. A contact surface 462 located at the rear side of a rear surface 442 of the flange 440 is formed in the pressure contact part 460.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
