PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine which uses a pair of end plates having the same shape and enables simplification of the structure and improvement of the assembly workability.SOLUTION: A rotor 10 includes a first end plate 22a and a second end plate 22b at both ends of a rotor core 16 when viewed in a lamination direction of the rotor core 16. The first end plate 22a has a communication passage 44a which allows a radial passage 42a of a rotary shaft 20 and a cooling medium circulation passage 34 of the rotor core 16 to communicate with each other. The second end plate 22b has a discharge circulation passage 46a which allows the cooling medium circulation passage 34 to communicate with the outside. The first end plate 22a and the second end plate 22b are set to have the same shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
