PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body that serves as a display body 10 being an excellent security device having new optical characteristics replaceable for a diffraction grating, the display body having display effects different by changes of observation conditions such as an observation direction and angle when observation.SOLUTION: A display body 10 includes, on a front face of a light permeable substrate: a striped or two-dimensionally arrayed projecting part 17 including a plurality of bottoms and a plurality of polyhedrons; and a reflective layer 13 laminated thereon. At least one side of the projecting part 17 including the polyhedrons is substantially perpendicular to the substrate. A reflective layer 13 disposed on the one side of substantially perpendicular to the substrate has a film thickness thinner than the film thickness of the reflective layer 13 disposed on another face, and a permeability of 40% or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
