PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which absorbs impact energy with a seat being deflected when the impact energy is applied thereto during a collision, in particular a head-on collision, and efficiently absorbs an impact load to reduce influence on peripheral members, such as a rail device, during the collision.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a vehicle seat S having a seat frame F, which comprises a seat back frame 1 positioned at a back part of an occupant and a seat cushion frame 2 positioned below a hip of the occupant, as a framework F. Side parts of the seat cushion frame 2 are defined by cushion side frames 2a, 2a which are arranged separated from each other in a vehicle width direction.
