PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent protrusion of welded parts relating to an underrun protector.SOLUTION: An underrun protector is provided with a hollow lower pipe 10 and a hollow upper pipe 20 that is joined to the lower pipe 10 by welding. The lower pipe 10 is provided with a lower joint surface part 15 that is abutted against the upper pipe 20, a lower first corner part 11 and a lower second corner part 12, which are opposite ends in the short direction of the lower joint surface part 15. A curvature radius R, Rof at least either one of the lower first corner part 11 and the lower second corner part 12 is set to be three or more times as large as the wall thickness t of the lower pipe 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
