A test apparatus for an autoclave comprises a temperature sensor (33) and a pressure sensor (38) for registering an ambient temperature and ambient pressure which are coupled to a central processor unit (35) which also comprises a transmitter device for wireless signal transfer to display and/or storage means located outside the autoclave. The device is further provided with an electronic power supply (34). A lumen (20) in the device has a first outer end in open communication with the surrounding area and a second outer end which opens into a measuring chamber (25) of the device. A first temperature sensor (31) is provided close to the first outer end of the lumen in a reference chamber for the purpose of registering a reference temperature, and a second temperature sensor (32) is provided in the measuring chamber for the purpose of registering a process temperature. The first and the second temperature sensor (31,32) are coupled to the central processor unit (35) and the reference chamber and measuring chamber take an at least substantially identical form. |
