A method for detecting an abnormal Passive Optical Network (PON) terminal, comprising: an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) detecting an identifier of the abnormal PON terminal, wherein the identifier of the abnormal PON terminal includes the identifier of the PON terminal corresponding to the PON terminal, to which the identifier of PON terminal is allocated, the PON terminal not receiving a registration completion message in a predetermined time; the OLT locking the identifier of the abnormal PON terminal; and, the OLT determining, according to the identifier of the abnormal PON terminal, the PON terminal corresponding to the identifier of the abnormal PON terminal as the abnormal PON terminal. The method solves the technical problem that the abnormal PON terminal illegally occupying the identifier of the PON terminal cannot be detected in the related art, thus achieving simpler and more flexible dynamic monitor of the abnormal PON terminal and also reducing the cost of solving the problem. |
