[Class 38 (iii)] For an A.C. induction motor which is braked by injection D.C. into the stator windings, the pedal 12, which is depressed to change from running to braking connections is interlocked with lever 2 which operates a controller for forward and reverse running so that movement of the pedal can only occur in the mid position of the lever 2. The interlock is constituted by a roller 8 and curved arms 4, 5. The arrangement is applicable to the control equipment described in Specification 472,192.</p> |
