PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool intake air while minimizing an increase in intake resistance in an intake system.SOLUTION: An intake system 1 includes: an outer pipe 5 covering an outer side of a duct 4; a stack 6 that is disposed on the outer periphery of the duct 4 within the outer pipe 5 and receives sound energy from the intake downstream side to form a temperature gradient in the axial direction; and a metallic flow straightening grid 7 that is disposed within the duct on the inner side of a portion on the low-temperature side of the stack 6 to straighten a flow of intake air upstream of an AFM 3. Due to this configuration, a low-temperature portion of the stack 6 can cool the flow straightening grid 7, and the flow straightening grid 7 can cool the intake air. Conventionally, the flow straightening grid 7 is a member to straighten a flow of the intake air guided to the AFM 3, and a degree of an increase in intake resistance caused by installing the flow straightening grid 7 is small. Therefore, while the increase in the intake resistance is minimized, the intake air can be cooled. |
