PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas detector that is easy to attach and detach a diffusion-type gas detection unit to and from a gas suction unit, and achieves high workability.SOLUTION: A portable gas detector comprises a casing that includes a battery loading chamber into which a cylindrical battery is inserted along its axial direction via a battery insertion hole opening to one side and on that a gas detection unit attaching part is formed. A diffusion-type gas detection unit is detachably attached to a gas suction unit which is formed by screwing a battery lid equipped with a connection terminal for one electrode of the battery into an opening edge of the battery insertion hole, by being engaged in a sliding manner in a state in which a gas detection unit formed on one surface of the gas detection unit is accepted into the gas detection unit attaching part. The portable gas detector has a safe structure of obtaining a state in which the gas suction unit can be turned on and a state in which the gas detection unit can be attached and detached to and from the gas suction unit by rotation operation of the battery lid. |
