PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage system for effectively generating spiral flow as wash water flow by drainage water flown in a draining recess, effectively cleaning the inside of the drainage recess and a garbage basket, and having high drainage capability.SOLUTION: In a drainage system which constitutes a drainage bowl (drainage recess) 32 in a form partially recessed downward from the bottom 30 of a sink 10, makes water in the sink 10 flow in the drainage bowl 32, and drains the water from a drainage port 62 at the bottom 60, the inside of the drainage bowl 32 is provided with: a garbage basket 42; and a vane wheel 88 on a lower side of the garbage basket 42 and an upper side of the drainage port 62, and is provided with a rotary device which rotates the vane wheel 88 in the drainage bowl 32, adds rotational force of the vane wheel 88 to drainage water flowing from the bottom 60 of the drainage bowl 32 toward the drainage port 62, and generates spiral flow. Then, the bottom 164 of the garbage basket 42 is provided with a recess 168 in a shape obtained by partially upwardly recessing a part from at least a position of an outer peripheral end of the vane wheel 88 inward of a radial direction from the other part in the surroundings in a plan view. |
