PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve, by means of an additive agent to be added to a nonaqueous electrolyte, the charge-discharge cycle performance of a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery which is arranged by use of a positive electrode active material having a α-NaFeOtype crystal structure and including a lithium transition metal complex oxide containing Co, Ni and Mn, especially a "lithium-excessive type" positive electrode active material.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode has an α-NaFeOtype crystal structure, and includes a positive electrode active material containing a lithium transition metal complex oxide expressed by the compositional formula, LiMeO(where Me is a transition metal element including Mn, Ni and Co, and 1.0≤(1+α)/(1-α)≤1.6). The nonaqueous electrolyte contains a cyclic sulfonic acid compound such as diglycolic sulfate. |
