PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting apparatus capable of preventing a trouble in which, even in the case of pasting a label beyond a surface for pasting of a merchandise article, adhesion or the like of the label which went beyond the surface to other areas, on a conveyance downstream side.SOLUTION: A label pasting apparatus 100 has: a label issuing section 40; a label pasting section 41; conveyance means 1 for conveying a merchandise article W from an upstream side to a label pasting region Lp and discharging the merchandise article W, to which a label was pasted in the label pasting region Lp by the label pasting section 41, to a downstream side; a storage section as storage means for storing a label pasting condition for determining a label pasting position of the label pasting section 41; and a control section. The control section determines whether or not the label went beyond a surface for pasting of the merchandise article on the basis of a label size corresponding to printing items of the merchandise article and a label pasting condition, and performs processing of stopping the drive of the conveyance means 1 when a label which was determined to go beyond the surface is pasted in the label pasting region Lp of the merchandise article in the state where the label goes beyond the surface for pasting of the merchandise article. |
