PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of presenting a video in which brightness of a scenery outside a vehicle and brightness of image display light to be superposed are well-balanced.SOLUTION: A first illuminance sensor 1310a acquires the illuminance of ambient light outside a vehicle. A second illuminance sensor 1310b acquires the illuminance of ambient light inside the vehicle. An image presentation unit 50 controls the illuminance of image display light, which is produced based on an image signal of an image to be displayed, on the basis of the illuminance of ambient light acquired by the first illuminance sensor 1310a or the second illuminance sensor 1310b, and projects the image display light. A combiner 400 has the image display light projected thereon. Here, the image presentation unit 50 selects either the first illuminance sensor 1310a or the second illuminance sensor 1310b on the basis of a result of comparison in magnitude of the illuminance of the ambient light outside the vehicle, which is acquired by the first illuminance sensor 1310a, with the illuminance that is an object of comparison, and controls the illuminance of the image display light on the basis of the illuminance of the ambient light acquired by the selected illuminance sensor. |
